A church is many things to many people. For those who are
yet still lost and not attending, it is a shining light in a sea of
darkness, a hope and promise of a better future for themselves and their
children. It is comforting words, spoken in sound doctrine, in times of
despair. For many, the only place they have to turn to too provide food,
clothing, or shelter for their families in a troubled world that seems to care
not. AND LET OURS ALSO
LEARN TO MAINTAIN GOOD WORKS FOR NECESSARY USES, THAT THEY BE NOT
UNFRUITFUL. TITUS 3:14
As
Paul wrote in his letter of instruction to Titus, it is the churches
responsibility to do all that they can in their service to GOD to aid
and guide not only their members, but to search out and touch all others
in need of help or enlightenment. Under the guidance of its pastor
(David Wood) , Victory Baptist Tabernacle is such a church. Pastor Wood
has been led by the Holy Spirit to accomplish many works in the name of
our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. In the months that follow this
writing, Pastor David Wood and other church members will attend a
Christian financial training course so that they may guide and direct
others in becoming good stewards to God. The church will continue its
efforts to supply food and clothing to those in need, not only in our
area, but other states as well. We will continue to support our
missionary in Jerusalem, and adding support to at least one more
missionary in a different part of the world in need of Gods direction.
Jesus-4-Gives ministry is yet another mission field the church will
increase its association with, striving to reach millions with the
message of salvation through television and the internet. Radio
broadcasts with live preaching and talk shows, bible studies, daily
devotions, and songs of praise are soon on the horizon. The are many
other mission fields the church will be guided and involved in. Marriage
seminars, to assist couples in dealing with problems and relationship
techniques. Job services, to assist those in need of direction and
finding new career paths to enrich their lives
and support their families.
Jail ministries, bringing Hope through the word of God, to those who
have been led astray in life's months if the year. And a Tri County
Youth Crusade this summer, bringing together young people from many
different churches to learn and explore Gods written word in new and
exciting ways. WHEREFORE BY THERE FRUITS YE SHALL KNOW THEM.

Victory
Baptist Tabernacle wants to be that shining light in this troubled
world, desires to follow the paths that the Holy Spirit would have them
to tread. Our goal is to reach multitudes, with the promise of Christ' s
